What do David Beckham, Posh Spice, J. K. Rowling and the Pope have in common? Leaders in their field? They play bridge on Fridays? No. They've all put their two cents in to help find missing girl Madeleine McCann.

J. K. Rowling has posted a reward for her, to go along with the half million pounds that has been raised so far. The Pope has blessed her picture, which gives her +12 dexterity and resistance to lightning magic.

The Beckhams have "raised awareness" for her. As though Victoria fucking Beckham crying behind her Armani sunglasses is going to touch anyone's heart, let alone the paedophile who's having his way with Madeleine.

To help identify Madeleine, her parents have released a close-up of her distinctive eyes.

Madeleine's eyes

I've seen that mark before, it's common in IVF kids. I'm willing to bet that Madeleine was born through in-vitro fertilisation. The last time I checked, the Catholic Church was dead against IVF, equating it with infanticide. Pope Hypocrite XVI knows where Maddy is; she's in hell!

I was going to make a Where's Wally-esque picture for this post, but I think this kid has been through enough without me scoring cheap points. I'm going to stop now before I dig myself in even deeper.

How funny were Archbishop (does that mean he's holier than normal Bishops?) George Pel's "threats" against catholic MPs voting for stem cell research in NSW... 65 to 26 in favor - stick that in your incense burner and smoke it! As above though, it should be fairly obvious by now that "religious" is just latin for "hypocritical". They make a living out of rejecting science and reason and then think they have some kind of right to comment on the hard work of scientists in a scientific field (read: "real medicine," as opposed to "snake oil"). They don't know what the issue actually entails, they just know they're dead against it, coz that's how the big guy tells them to think, and he also tells them independence of thought is bad, mmkay.... Heh, i loved those satire guys on lateline on the issue - "independence of thought... how to eliminate that. And women... what are we going to do about them."

Anyway, who's Madeleine McCann? We all have a legitimate biological basis for not giving a fuck, as this article stu pointed me to illustrates quite humorously

In conclusion, write an article about something interesting, like the latest advances in "WiTricity" (when will this fad for prefacing any RF device with "Wi" wear off and people see it's just as annoying as "e-" stuff and "i-" products?) Even tho Nicola Tesla did way cooler shit like a hundred years ago, it's good to see R&D going into it again.

Also, the new Battles album is fuckin' AWESOME. Bai.
